....The classes were nothing like I'd expected! For a start, it was FUN, and Sam loved it. In fact there was something in it for both of us - I met a lot of new people with a common interest (i.e. our new "babies") and Sam got to play with other puppies (which mad a nice change for him from the sometimes grumpy 9 yr old Max at home). The classes offered a balanced mixture of obedience training (sit, stand, leave it, etc), fun (obstacle course, tunnels and cones), socialising (meeting other dogs and people) as well as preparing your puppy for the check-ups they will experience at the vets surgery. Most importantly, we ALL had a great time. I certainly wasn't prepared for the fact that it's OK to have a good laugh when your pup doesn't get it quite right (or rather, gets it hopelessly wrong), but a good giggle releases the tension and the anxiety that we feel as owners when we want our puppies to perform well. Human babies learn by trial and error and puppies are no different!........

We have been most impressed with the training classes we attend with Tom and Michelle. We have found it to be so friendly and enjoyable, a very sociable evening for the whole family to attend. We have gained lots of information, advice and tips from the classes whilst being fun for all of us. The homemade treats are fantastic our dog will do anything for them.
Thank you very much to every one for all your hard work and effort in making it a fun class to learn and not be afraid to make mistakes.

My name is Bella and im a 7 month old 'hyperactive' Staffordshire Bull Terrier, I have been attending Kellen DTC now since I was 4 months old and I thought I'd share my views so other dogs can meet new friends and learn how to please the humans!
Puppy Class - Obviously my mum was a bit nervous on the first night as she wasn't sure what to expect but she was made extremely welcome by the trainers and enjoyed chatting to all the owners, she was soon okay and she let me investigate all the new puppies. I've made so many friends at Kellen DTC all shapes and sizes we all get to play with each other for a bit before we have to get down to business.
Time for learning- First we learn the simple one word commands sit, down and stay which I'm pleased to say I've now grasped and stick to them as they keep my mum happy, we then learn to go through tunnels and obstacle courses, its the best feeling in the world being brave enough to go through it although we are all so nervous to start with.

I've now completed the Puppy Class and I'm now moving on to the bigger dog class where I'm sure I'll learn new things to make my mum even more proud of me I just hope other puppies will learn and enjoy themselves as much as me and my mum have over the last few weeks
